It’s never been easier to be completely distracted. It’s also never been easier to be great.

All it’ll take is everything you’ve got.

“At twenty, I was a wounded veteran with no place to live. Today I build companies that have changed hundreds of thousands of lives and let me give seven figures a year back to veterans and their families.

I didn’t get from there to here by working around broken systems. I got here by taking them apart and building something better in their place.

That’s what I teach.

A Career Measured in Lives Changed

Luke has built companies, created products that didn’t exist, and stepped into problems most people would have left for someone else. Here’s what that looks like when you put the claims on paper.

VetClaims.ai

The company Luke runs now

VetClaims.ai has helped tens of thousands of veterans pursue benefits they earned through their service, while creating hundreds of jobs for veterans along the way. The company has reported more than $100 million in benefits unlocked, without taking a percentage of a veteran’s backpay.

Clusiv

The world’s first e-learning platform for blind users

Clusiv built accessible career training for blind and visually impaired people, creating a path into jobs that inaccessible software had put out of reach. At its peak, 65 to 85 percent of its own workforce was blind or low vision, making the people it was built to serve part of the company building it.

The Accessibility Suit

Shut down in a week

A major accessibility failure put a 13,000-person company at risk of millions in damages and left people with disabilities unable to use its product. Luke was a junior engineer with no authority over the problem. He developed a solution, took it directly to the CEO and CTO, and helped mitigate the issue within seven working days.

The Get Luked Philosophy

What building, failing and building again taught Luke to believe.

Luke learned that at war, homeless, building companies, losing one and starting again. Every chapter reinforced the same lesson: your life changes when you stop waiting for the conditions to change first.

And what can be learned can be taught. The Get Luked Philosophy distills those lessons into six principles for changing what happens next.

Your circumstances can explain where you are. They don’t get to decide where you finish.

Certainty is expensive.

Waiting until you know how something ends carries a cost of its own. Luke dropped out of graduate school with no plan and it remains the best decision he ever made.

None of these are prepared or scripted talks. They’re territories of expertise that lead to dynamic, thought-provoking discussions and can hold a room without notes.

  • Building inside a system designed to stop you
  • Hiring veterans, and why they outperform
  • Zero to four hundred employees in under two years
  • What a hundred and eighty-five investor rejections teach you
  • Laying off a company you built
  • The AI Age and Problem Solving
  • Disability, employment, and subminimum wage
  • Customer experience as the only real moat
  • Military sexual trauma and what the system misses
  • Faith, and running a company on it

05If you want the backstory

From Homeless to the Texas Business Hall of Fame

Winter, age 20Everything Luke owned

At twenty, Luke was out of the Army with a Purple Heart and everything he owned crammed into a Ford Mustang. That was also where he slept through a Nebraska winter, with his dog Cole.

Moving into a double-wide trailer felt like a promotion. It was so overrun with rats that he and Cole both got sick, and every piece of food he owned had to live in a plastic tote box on the floor.

He sat in that trailer one night and decided whether to keep living. What stopped him was looking at Cole and realising that if he died, nobody was going to feed him.

So he stayed. And he gave himself one condition: Whatever life he had left was going to be worth reading about. From then on, whenever he had a choice, he took the option he couldn’t predict the ending of.

Luke now employs four hundred and thirty-eight people.

And somewhere along the way, choosing the uncertain path stopped being a survival strategy. It became a philosophy.

Proudly Supporting

Four organisations Luke backs. Two of them he founded, one is the company he runs, and one is the campaign he leads.

  • The Veteran Voice

A policy PAC built to force real action for veterans: faster decisions, clear rules, and protections that hold. No slogans, no theater.

  • VetClaims.ai

Turns the VA disability process into a clear, step-by-step plan built around evidence and outcomes.

  • Future Warfighter Foundation

Trains and equips community leaders to give veterans employment preparation, leadership development, and a clear next mission after service.

  • VetRights

A campaign to let veterans choose who helps them with a VA disability claim from day one.
